Welcome to the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Training Website.

We currently offer three training programs. The Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation provides oversight of all three programs. The CWCP (Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional) program is a Board Certification Program designed for people who deal with workers’ compensation claims and if you successfully complete the course requirements you are eligible to obtain a Georgia Workers’ Compensation Advisors license. Our next designation is the CWCA (Certified Workers’ Compensation Associate). This program will be available September 2007. It is the self study portion of the CWCP program. While the program targets the same audience as the CWCP program it is designed for out of state adjusters or participants who may not feel they are ready for the CWCP program.

Our other new initiative is the medical provider training program. This training program is designed especially for medical providers and their staff to increase their understanding of Georgia’s Workers’ Compensation system. We are now registering for the 2008 Medical Providers Training.
